the zubizuri bridge (“the white bridge”) is one of the many bridges spanning over the nervion river in bilbaos center. it is a pedestrian-only bridge, close to bilbaos tourist magnet the guggenheim museum and was designed in 1997 by spanish star architect santiago de calatrava. related: a walk along the river in bilbao.
