Another entry for my ‘art underground’ series even though in this case the art is not undground but overground: The highlight of the Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre station are the arches made of colorful beads that bring some Mardi Grass flavour to the metro entrance at Place Colette.

most of lisbon’s metro stations have some kind of artwork to look at (like the tile murals at the oriente station), but at olaias the station itself is an artwork. more art underground: in los angeles and in new york.
