NYC. West Indian Labor Day Parade 2017 in Brooklyn.

Every year on Labor Day New Yorkers from the West Indies and surrounding countries celebrate the West Indian Carnival along Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. Unfortunately I didn’t snap that many pictures while watching the parade (but I posted two short clips on Instagram here and here) – I was too consumed by the music, the people, the costumes and the smell of the food. But I still wanted to share the few I got:

Definitely the prettiest parade I’ve ever seen!
