Target – I loved the buildings facade // 9.-11. Inside the Rookery – the light court was remodeled by Frank Lloyd Wright// 12. The Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park // 13. A Metra Station entrance in Grant Park – designed like the Metro stations in Paris // 14. The BP Pedestrian Bridge – designed by Frank Gehry – leading from Maggie Daley Park to Millenium Park // 15.+16. At Cloud Gate aka “The Bean” by Anish Kapoor // 17. Picasso sculpture in the Loop // 18. “Monument with Standing Beast” sculpture by Jean Dubuffet in front of the Thompson Center // 19. Inside the Thompson Center – designed by Helmut Jahn // 20. 1. I’m not really one for cities and skyscrapers but there’s a certain excitement. (I posted recently about Birmingham and I loved it 🙂 ) Chicago appeals more than NY and I don’t know why. The sculptures maybe? And that song… and the band 🙂
