NYC. The Bowery Mural by Ron English.

The mural on the corner of East Houston Street and Bowery is one of the places I always visit when I’m in NYC. In previous years I’ve seen murals by Retna, Lady Aiko, Maya Hayuk and Barry McGee. I was disappointed to read the the mural was temporary removed due to a construction site nearby, but gladly it “reopened” just 2 weeks before my visit. On view right now is a stunning artwork by Ron English: an American flag made of satirical versions of ads and his iconic baby hulk in the middle. Unfortunately it is no longers exsistent since the building will be sold soon (or maybe it’s torn down already?!). Ron English streetart Bowery Manhattan
