[the “park of the nations” was the location for 1998’s world fair and is now a commercial and leisure area with tourist attractions like the oceanarium and the vasco da gama shopping center and architectural highlights like the oriente train station and the portuguese pavilion. my personal highlights are all the little parks, the many fountains and all the works of art around the area. some of them are pictured above.]
